Driver's licences

We can translate driver's licences from any of the languages listed under languages we translate into English.

Our translations are approved by the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA). However, we are not part of NZTA, so if you have any questions regarding the requirements for driving in New Zealand, please contact them directly.

You can request a selective translation by email. Please complete the following application form and send it to The Translation Service with a scan or photo of your document.

What other important information do I need to provide you with?

When sending us your documents for translation, it is always helpful if you include a short note saying what you need, how you want to pay, how you would like your translation returned to you, and also some contact details in case we need to contact you.

If your document is written in a non-Latin script it is also very important to tell us how you would like the names on your documents spelled in English so that they match with your immigration or citizenship application.
