Birth Certificates with Redacted Information factsheet published

The AML/CFT Supervisors have published a factsheet to clarify that some information may be redacted by a customer when a birth certificate is used for identity verification purposes under the Identity Verification Code of Practice. This factsheet has been created as part of the government response to the Working Group for Reducing Barriers to Changing Registered Sex report.  More information can be found here: Working Group for reducing barriers to changing registered sex
