Amy Zeng, Translator, BA, MA
Amy immigrated to New Zealand in 1993. She studied at Tsinghua University in China. Amy commenced employment at the Translation Service in 1994. Her working languages are Chinese and Korean.

Asma Said-Majeed, Translator, BA (Translation and Interpreting)
Asma's native language is Arabic. She has been with the Translation Service since 1997.

Bill Ashwell, Translator, BSc, MA (Japanese), NAATI III (Japanese, Spanish)
Bill joined the Translation Service in 1978. In 1985 he left the service to take up a three-year appointment with Fujitsu Australia as a technical Japanese translator. In 1988 he resumed employment with the Translation Service as a translator. Bill provides translations from Japanese, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Scandinavian languages.

Alfonso Mannella, Administration Officer
Alfonso joined the Translation Service in June 2013 as our Email Administrator Officer.

Jessica Kerr, Administration Officer
Jess joined the Translation Service in July 2013 as our Front Desk Administrator Officer.

Jing Chen, Translator, BA, PGDipEd
Jing joined the Translation Service in August 2005. Her working language is Chinese.

Lisa Spence, Project Manager
Lisa has been with the Translation Service since August 2010.

Patrick Geddes, Service Delivery Manager, BA, Grad.DipTrans, NAATI Translator (German)
Patrick joined the Translation Service in January 2003. He took on the role of Acting Manager in August 2007. Patrick completed his degree in English and Modern Languages at the University of Auckland and then spent nearly five years working in Berlin in the tourism industry. He returned to New Zealand in 2002 and completed the one-year graduate diploma in translation studies at the University of Auckland. His working languages are German and French.

Quintin Ridgeway, Manager, BA(Hons), MProfStuds (Translation), NAATI Translator (German)
Quintin worked as a translator in both Germany and New Zealand before joining the Translation Service in December 2005. He completed a First Class Masters degree in Translation Studies in 2006 was appointed as Manager in August 2012. He stands on the Council of the New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters (NZSTI) and is vice-president of the NZSTI wellington branch. His working languages are German, Japanese and Latin.

Shieva Norusian, Project Manager
Shieva joined the Translation Service in November 2009. Her working language is German.
