Details of the Vist to Nelson, Westport, Wellington, Ngaruawhahia and Auckland by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall

Details of visits by The Royal Couple to Nelson, Westport, Wellington, Ngaruawahia and Auckland on 7 and 8 November are below:

Saturday 7 November

11.00am: The Royal Couple arrive at Nelson Airport.

11.15am: The Royal Couple arrive at the bottom of the Cathedral Steps at Selwyn Place to walk along Trafalgar Street to the Nelson Market. This will be the main opportunity for members of the public to see the Royal Couple in Nelson.

12.10pm: His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales will visit the Cawthron Institute to learn about fisheries and acquaculture research in New Zealand.

12.15pm: Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall will visit the WOW Museum.

1.40pm: The Royal Couple will attend a food and wine event at Mahana Winery.

2.50pm: Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall travels to Wellington.

3.00pm: His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales travels to Westport.

3.35pm: His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrives in Westport to visit Defence Exercise Southern Katipo.

5.15pm: His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrives in Westport town centre for a public walk and visit to West Coast Brewery. This will be the main opportunity for members of the public to see Prince Charles in Westport.

5.50pm: Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall visits SPCA Wellington to learn about their new facilities.

5.55pm: His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales departs Westport for Wellington.

Sunday 8 November

11.40am: The Royal Couple arrive at Turangawaewae Marae for the welcome by Kingi Tuheitia, a salute by a waka armada and a meeting with invited guests who support the Kingitanga.

2.25pm: The Royal Couple depart Turangawaewae for Auckland.

3.55pm: The Royal Couple arrive at Aotea Square for a public walk. This will be the main opportunity for members of the public to see the Royal Couple in Auckland.

4.15pm: His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales will visit members of Nga Rangatahi Toa and see a performance in the Concert Chamber in the Town Hall.

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall will visit Bellyful Charity in the Supper Room in the Town Hall.

4.55pm: The Royal Couple depart the Town Hall.

7.00pm: His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales will hold a charity event at Government House in Auckland.
