National Remembrance Service for the victims of the Christchurch mosques terrorist attack

A National Remembrance Service for the victims of the Christchurch mosques terrorist attack was held on Friday 29 March 2019, at 10am.
The terrorist attack in Christchurch on Friday 15 March left dozens dead and seriously injured.
A National Remembrance Service was held at Hagley Park, Christchurch, 10am on Friday 29 March 2019 to remember and honour those who lost their lives in the tragic events.
To ensure this was a nationwide event, where communities could join together to reflect, honour, and mourn as one, events were arranged in Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and other regions using live coverage of the Christchurch Service. People across the country were encouraged to attend one of the official services or to watch the live coverage.

Events around New Zealand as part of the National Remembrance Service
To ensure this was a nationwide event, where communities could join together as one to honour the victims, considerations were given to simultaneously broadcasting the service to events in Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin and other regions using live coverage of the Christchurch event.
