New Identity Verification Code of Practice

The Department has released a new code of practice for identity verification.
The Identity Verification Code of Practice (IVCOP) provides best practice guidance for verifying the identity of customers, and forms part of the Government’s wider work to modernise and strengthen New Zealand’s AML/CFT system.
