igovt logon service becoming RealMe


The Department of Internal Affairs’ igovt logon service, and all services that use igovt as their authentication, will be unavailable this weekend.

Over the weekend the igovt logon service is becoming part of the RealMe service. There are over 970,000 igovt logons and they will automatically become RealMe logins on 1 July. igovt logon holders will still use their igovt username and password, but logging in will look different.

The RealMe service continues to maintain high levels of security and privacy, just as the igovt logon service has over the past six years.
