Flag Hire Service
Service Overview
Subject to availability, we hire the flags of most countries of the world for indoor or outdoor events such as conferences, functions, and parades in New Zealand.
View, download or print out an application form 196k. Once the form (.pdf fomat) is downloaded to your computer, you can print it, then complete it using a pen and return the form and accompanying material to us by mail. Forms in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format. You need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. You can download a free version from the Adobe site. Hard copies are available from the Visits and Cermonial Office.

- Outdoor - 2 1/2 yards long (2.3m x 1.15m)
- Indoor - 2 yards long (1.8m x 0.9m)

We courier flags to any area in New Zealand. Flags that are hired must not be taken overseas.
Conditions of hire:
- The person who will be responsible for the flag(s) during the hire period must complete and sign an application form.
- The hire fee must be paid before the flags are hired out. In exceptional circumstances, arrangements for invoicing may be made.
- Flags must be returned to us promptly once the hire period has elapsed, or incur further charges at the rate outlined in the price schedule.
- All courier charges are payable by the hirer. We do not deliver or collect any flags, except in exceptional circumstances. This remains at all times the hirer's responsibility.
- Loss of or damage to hired flags will be charged to the hirer.
