FTEs – five-year trend – Long Description

Back to original document

A line graph showing the five-year trend for full-time equivalents (or FTEs) employed by the Department of Internal Affairs over the period June 2007 to June 2012. From 2007 to 2010, FTEs increased at a slow pace, from 1,268 to 1,505. FTEs then peaked at 1,986 in 2011. The graph notes that this peak resulted from machinery of government changes whereby National Library, Archives New Zealand, the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, and the Office for the Community and Voluntary Sector joined the Department. By June 2012, FTEs decreased to 1,921.
