We are constantly seeking experienced translators to complement our team of professional freelance translators. We are keen to hear from you if you have one or more of the following:
  • a recognised translation qualification (e.g. NAATI);
  • a higher education qualification and a minimum of two years' translation experience;
  • at least five years' professional translation experience.

AND have linguistic competence in English and at least one of the following languages:
  • Amharic

Please note that if your application is accepted, you will be required to provide a police clearance certificate or to authorise us to access a copy of any criminal record information.
  • Payments for freelance translators are normally processed weekly. Please note that no tax is deducted from the amount we pay you. We will send you a letter at the end of each financial year to inform you how much you have earned during the tax year in question.
  • If you are GST registered you will forward us invoices for the agreed fee plus GST.
  • Payments to translators based in New Zealand will be directed credited to a nominated account.
  • Payments to translators outside of New Zealand will be made via Travelex, on receipt of invoice.
