Outdoor Safety

The Lottery Outdoor Safety Committee is a nationally-based committee providing funding for outdoor safety and water safety at a regional and national level. It was set up in 2004 specifically to fund outdoor safety and water safety projects.

Groups that do not have outdoor safety or water safety as their main purpose, which seek funds for projects that have an outdoor safety or water safety component, are not eligible to apply to Lottery Outdoor Safety. They may, however, be eligible for funding from the Lottery Community committees, which consider applications that primarily have a social sector or community development focus.
