Identity Conference 2012 – Managing Digital Identity in a Networked World
The Department of Internal Affairs, in conjunction with Victoria University of Wellington and the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner, is organising the Identity Conference 2012.
In 2008 we held New Zealand’s first major conference about identity - Managing Identity in New Zealand. That conference began a conversation about managing digital identity and its wider implications for people in New Zealand and beyond.
Four years later, 30 April and 1 May 2012, we are meeting again at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Wellington, to discuss what’s changed and where digital identity may be going in the future – particularly as we increasingly live, work and play online.
The Conference theme is “Managing Digital Identity in a Networked World”.
Further information about the Conference including key note speakers, conference programme, target audience and venue information can be found on the Identity Conference website.
